Ticket for British Sea Power

Another "e-ticket" - and not even a real e-ticket. It's just an email.

Another small-scale BSP gig, which was announced in October and sold out in one day. I was relieved to find out that the Con Club wasn't the Conservative Club and was actually a pretty good venue.

We've rushed down from Maida Vale (see previous gig entry!) via a really nice Italian restaurant in Oxshott - a small town somewhere in Surrey I'd never heard of but was conveniently half way between London and Lewes.

We weren't really sure how much energy we had for a second gig especially after walking up a steep hill to the venue. Getting in there and seeing a number of extremely comfy chairs to the side of the stage didn't help. Or did help!

Worth every minute of squeezing two gigs 100 miles away into one night. Another fantastic set from BSP - with Lately in its entirety, something I don't remember seeing live too many times before (if at all).

I'm never disappointed with a BSP set but Mongk II is always an added bonus for me. And the dancing bears. Got a good shot this time!
